The United States shall be bringing back most of their security assistance that was provided to Pakistan till date, said the State Department on last Thursday and by signaling upon Trump’s administration intends to force the country and eliminate the militants from them.
This official announcement came from the State Department, after Donald Trump’s tweet that was made after New Year, which says that Pakistan has repaid the United State with nothing other than lies and deceit since the US started providing military aid to them. He also labeled the Pakistani leaders as completely incomprehensible people.
Heather Nauert, the State Department spokeswoman said in a recent interview that the suspension of military aid shall remain active until Pakistan makes a decisive action against the Haqqani and Taliban network and other militant groups, who are known for stocking violence all over Afghanistan. These particular terrorist groups are creating a conflict that has already become one among the longest American war that shall happen in the near future.
Nauert also said that no kind of partnership can let the country survive with such militants and terrorists whose first target is about US officials. It has also been acknowledged that after the recent suspension of military aid, about two hundred and fifty-five million US dollars are now in a frozen state, and can be released only after Pakistan government makes a decision regarding the issues that are raised by the US.
On last Thursday, the State Department has also announced that they have placed Pakistan as one among the ‘to be watched country list’ after they lost their faith in them. This particular crisis started after the US officials believed that Pakistan itself allowed the Taliban leaders to shelter within their border limit.
