Shrivallabh Vyas is a famous Indian television and film actor, who is known for portraying the best of his acting skills in movies, namely, Lagaan, Sankat City, Abhay, Sarfarosh and much more. Vyas has featured in about sixty films and made appearances in television shows too. His memorable role as Ishwar in Lagaan shall be remembered for years.
During the year 2008, the actor suffered a severe brain stroke that followed up with a paralytic attack while he was shooting for a movie in Gujarat. Upon getting the brain stroke in the shooting spot itself, the Lagaan actor fell in the toilet by night and was found later in the morning with a pool of blood flowing around him. Later he was operated and got paralyzed after the brain stroke attack. His family was not able to afford his treatment, which made them relocate from Mumbai to Jaisalmer and then with Jaipur to continue with his treatment.
Even his wife, Shobha admitted that it has been really difficult for them to see Shri Vallabh Vyas hospitalized and paying the medical bills for him. As they were not able to meet up with the medical bills, they had no other option other than moving out of the city and treat him elsewhere.
After hearing upon Vallabh Vyah suffering and financial condition, actor Arun Bali came over and offered about ten thousand Indian Rupees to continue with the treatment. The CINTAA vice president and actor Gajendra Chauhan offered about fifty thousand Indian Rupees and helped Vallabh Vyas to recover from the brain stroke. Even other Bollywood actors, namely Irrfan Khan, Aamir Khan and Manoj Bajpayee offered help to him from time to time.
But, unfortunately, at the age of sixty, Shri Vallabh Vyas breathed his last air at 9:30 AM on Sunday. Sources say that he died due to serious illness and his final rituals took place on the same evening itself
