The color saffron is wide spreading gradually all over UP (Uttar Pradesh) and recently it has reached with an eighty-year-old police station that is located in the state capital. This particular police station has been splashed over with saffron color after the Haj office was painted the same few months back.

The saffron color is going places after Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, started defining the state with this particular color. Starting from school bags, booklets, chairs, towels, buses and every other government-owned property has been tasting saffron color all over them, and the latest one that has been added to this list is the Qaiser Bagh police station.

This particular police station was constructed in the year 1939 and it had the traditional police station colors, which is yellow and red all over them. But, with the recent introduction of saffron color, the round pillars and other parts of the building have got a bright saffron color painted with a light cream background on them.

D K Upadhyaya, the inspector in charge said to the press that the new renovation had started two months back and it was one among the annual programme that was planned and initiated during the year 2017. The renovation work is at present incomplete as laborers have completely stopped working, due to the intense cold climate.

During October month in last year, the Lal Bahadur Shastri Bhawan that is known for housing the chief minister’s office got painted in saffron color. Even the state secretariat office was painted in saffron color after Mr. Adityanath took over to be the chief minister of the state.

Other than spreading the saffron color in government-related offices, the state government has even made the schools bags that were issued to the students in this academic year, as a saffron-colored one.
