The Delhi court has recently imposed a cost of about ten thousand Indian Rupees upon AAP leader Ashutosh for trying to derail with the proceedings that were fired upon him in a defamation case by Arun Jaitley.

The court has said that the AAP leader indeed moved the entire application even though he did not have any kind of slight discomfiture with the English language.

Jaitley filed up a criminal defamation case during the year 2015 against Mr. Ashutosh, Arvind Kejriwal (the chief minister of New Delhi) and upon other AAP leaders namely, Sanjay Singh, Kumar Vishwas and on Raghav Chadha – for falsely accusing and making statements regarding the financial irregularities within Delhi and in the DDCA (District Cricket Association) for which the BJP leader was known to be the president between the year 2000 till 2013.

Ashutosh

While dismissing the plea that was made by Ashutosh, the chief metropolitan magistrate named Deepak Sherawat said that the application that was made by the AAP leader was just an attempt to derail with the court proceedings and it was a complete waste of time for them.

The present application looks like nothing else other than an attempt to derail with the court proceedings and it has no serious or real purpose behind coming up with such thing at first place.

Both the applicant, Ashutosh and his advocate cannot be pleased to have any kind of discomfiture with the English language as the applicant himself is an author of a well-known English book named Anna: 3 days that awakened India.

One must notice that the present application itself was written in the English language.

Also, the court has said that recording the evidence in the Hindi language shall not be allowed due to the technical bottlenecks behind them.
